The Story of Pear Blossom Slumber
Legend says this was the incense crafted by Li Yu, the last ruler of the Southern Tang dynasty (937–975 CE), for his beloved consort.
A king may possess a kingdom, but what Li Yu possessed was merely the tenderness behind a curtained chamber.
Our blend brings together quince, agarwood and sandalwood. Quince has a pear-like aroma; here, its mellow, cooked-fruit sweetness softens into warm, gentle woods.
That wisp of smoke rose from behind the curtains, drifted past carved bedchambers, and traveled through a thousand years to arrive here today.

The Brothers' Study
The Song dynasty (960–1279 CE) elevated incense culture to its zenith. In those days, on every scholar's desk, there was always an incense burner.v
"The Brothers' Study" is a formula created by later generations to honor the legendary Su brothers—Su Shi (1037–1101) and Su Zhe (1039–1112)
Between them, there were over three hundred letters, a vow to be "brothers life after life," and a shared understanding that transcended the distances of exile.
What does "old" smell like? It's the scent of books when you're too tired to read. It's the smell of wooden furniture warming in the afternoon sun as you sip coffee.
The Art of Burning
Scent is the oldest form of memory. Before language, before writing, there was smoke rising from sacred wood.
Our Pear Blossom Slumber incense is blended from cultivated agarwood and natural botanicals — designed to fill your space with the same quiet warmth you carry on your wrist. Available in coil and stick formats.
Pair them with our handcrafted Hundred Blossoms burner or Willow Leaf holder — ceramic pieces made to complement the ritual.
